Abstract

The effects of the dietary fibers enriched with natural foods on the metabolism of carbohydrate have been investigated on diabetic subjects. An increase in the fiber content of the diet from 12 - 15 grams to 53 - 67 grams by adding natural foods was effective to decrease blood sugar if diabetic subjects.
