Alzheimer disease is likely similar to other chroııic diseases that have long preclinic period. Aging, with its associated increase in oxidative stress is important factor for developıııent of t he disease. Research findings suggest that oxidative stress plays important role in the pathogenesis of disease and sonıe of the B vitanıins (BJ7, B6 and folic acid) may have preventiııg ejfect for development of symptoms. There fore in the preclinical period, diet rich in antioxidants and B vitanıins may have beneficial effect in the prevention or delaying the symptoms occıırence.
