The Energy Expenditures, Nuritional and Health Status Of The Young Unqualified Labours Working In Antalya

Abstract

In this study, the energy expenditures, food consumption le vels, nutritional and health status, weight and height and hemoglobin values of the 100 young labours 12-18 years of age were investigated. The results were; nutrition of the young labours were depended on mainly cereals and the consumption of energy were low comparing with their expenditures. In the majority, animal protein, fat, calcium, vitamine A, riboflavin, niacin and vitamine C consumptions were insufficient.
