Food Habits of the People In the Region of Şanlıurfa

Abstract

This study was conducted on eighty families in the different sections o f Şanlıurfa. The mostly consumed special foods in the region were investigated and the nutritional values of one portion of these foods were also calculated. The methods used during preparation and cooking of these meals were evaluated according to principles of nutrition and recommendations were given.
