A Study on Nutritional Knowledge of Medical Doctors

Abstract

This study was condııcted to deternıine nutritional kno\vledge o f300 medical doctors (168 male, 132female) in Ankara. Findiııgs showed that 43.67% of doctors w er e specialists, 48.68% were 30 and under year s age group. it was found that nutrition kno\vledge levels of 5.33%, 82.34%, 12.33% of doctors were good, nıedium and insuffic'ıent respectively. İt was foıınd that speciality had important ejfect on nutritional knowledge levels of medical doctors (p< 0.05).
