Abstract

The most coramon surgical complication of ascariasis is intestinal obstruction. This complication was seen only once in Çubuk distinet in the last ten years. To decrease the parasitic infestations commonly seen inthecountries where the socio-economic and environmental health conditions are not good can be achieved only by solving the probleme of clear water, canalisation and settlement. Establishing these conditions can be successed only by cu rren t food sanitation education and regular health Controls.
