Abstract

In this study the usage and the effects of mass media of women in 308 families living in Ankara, Elmadağ and Çankırı had been investigated. Generally the percentages of the women who vvere vvatching T.V. or listening radio were higher (66.6%) than the readers (24.4 %). This ratio is more higher in Elmadağ. Some musical programs or others like TV films were preferred than the health and nutritional programs or news women.
