A Research On Nutritional Status Of Prımary School Students From Two Different Socio - Economıc Status.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to point out the food consumption, nutritional habits and antropometric measurements of primary school children in different socio - economic and cultural status of Diyarbakır. İt has been found th at the calorie, protein, iron, vitamin A and C consumption and eating habits increase depending to socioeconomic status (p < 0.001). The vveight and height measurements of school children having high food consumption are higher than the children in low socio - economical levels (p < 0.01, p < 0.001). The prevalance of intestinal parasite shows th a t there isn’t any significant difference betvveen two groups (p > 0.05).
