Attitude and Behaviours of Foreign Tourists Regarding to the Turkish Cousine

Abstract

This survey was conducted on 1000foreign tourists who were staying at 5 different holiday villages in Antalya province. The ainı o f the survey was to fınd out the attitudes and behaviours o f foreign tourists againts the Turkıslı cousine. The reasonable cost o f trav el was the fırst reason fo r their preference ofTurkey. Ainıing to travel to Tıırkey in order to learn Turkish cousine vvas thefıfth given reason. While the rate o f the foreign tourists wlıo want to nıake good use o f Turkish cousine during their stay in Turkey was 62.9%, it was only 26.3% for the ones vvho want to enjoy their own country’s couisine. And it was determıned that 94.0% o f the sııbjects have tasted anyfoods and drinks o f Turkish cousine ııntil today. This sitııatioıı vvas not statistically significant according to their nationalities (p>0.05) but it \vas significant (p<0.01) according to their visiting nıımber to Turkey.
