The Plants Used In Cancer Treatment

Abstract

This research had planned and realizcd to determine traditional methods which are used in various disease and symptoms in the region of Kars, Ağrı, Van, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa and Adıyaman. It was determined th a t some of the people use plants against cancer disease in the region. Itwvas concluded th a t these plants are frequently used for different aims among people for many years in Turkey. Some of these plants include substances claimed to be natural anticarcinogen. Studies have been continuing to determine these kind of natural anticarcinogenic substances in foodstuffs and elucidate effect mechanisms. A treatment must be proposed and controlled by a doctor in cancer as a serious disease.
