Abstract

Primary school education must be considered as the basic and the most important part of the education of the child. Although nuritional topics are emphisized in the Ministry of Education's primary school curriculum, 84 % of the teachers believe that this topic is not successfully tought at ali. Research findings point out that the majority of the teachers are not adequately trained themselves. Well aware of this fact, they are showing conspicuous interest in being further trained in this most important field.
