Nutrıtıonal Study At The Department Of Nutrıtıon And Dıetetıcs Of The Turkiye Yuksek İhtisas Hospital

Abstract

In this study, 4149 adult men and women who applied the out p a t ien t clinic fo r dietary tre a tme n t at Turkish High Specialty (Yüksek İhtisas) Hospital, were examined. The study was conducted between 1987- 1988 over one year to find out the incidence and the d is tr ib u tio n of the ir diseases with respect to the ir age, sex, an d occupation. From the results of the study, it was concluded th a t the mos t common diseases were ulcer, coronary heart diseases, diabetes and kidney diseases respectively. Diseases were widespread among middle age and female patient more than male patient.
