The Status Of Breast-Feedıng Among The Nurses

Abstract

Knowledge, attitude and practise of individuals about nutrition is very important in solving the nutrition problems of one country. So, in the education and training of the society, health personels having a special responsıbility both train the individuals and be an example to them with their knowledge, attitudes and practise. This study had been carried out on nurses who worked in Hacettepe and Numune Hospitals. 33.3 % of these nurses fed their babies with breast milk less than a month, 33.3 % of them for 4-6 months and 16.7 % of them for more than 6 months.
