People with normal b ody weight had hypertenison incidence of 16.1 % when compared with obese ones with the incidence of 28.7 %. According to nutritional factors, high salt intake is an important risk factor for high blood pressure. In this region usually margarine is used and frequency of high blood pressure in saturated fat consumers is higher than in consumers of unsaturated fat (vegetable oils). It has been observed that there is no relationship between alcohol consumption and hypertension rate but smoking is found important.
