Abstract

The study was carried out on 197 children aged between 0-24 month old who were recorded at Kızılay Health Centre in Bornova. Malnutrition grades of children have been established by various antropometric measures. The general malnutrition rate has been found as 25 % according to Gomez. It has been shown that, malnutrion rate is statistically related with gender and the presence of living children aged between 0-24 months old.
