Abstract

F o ra newborn, it's likely to be groWn-up healthy by sufftcıent and balanced nutrition. But, as the number of vvorkıng mothers ıncreases as a result of industrializatıon, the ratıo and the period of breast-feeding and the quantıty of breast milk decreases. To examine the effects of delivery way, delivery time and the properties of breastfeedıng to the quantity o f breast milk, 40 w o men w o followed up in Polyclinics of Gynecologic Disorers and Delivery, at Ondokuz Mayıs University Medica aculty, were evaluated. Daily breast milk productıon on t e first three days after delivery and the fırst, con and the forth months were weighed. it's seen that the amount of breast milk war higer in the mothers who delivered in term, began breastfeeding early and breakfast when baby cries.
