The Investigation of the Efficiency of Breast Feeding” Posters in Çankaya Child Health and Family Planing Clinic Number 3 .

Abstract

Dııriııg the health edııcation studies of people about breast feeding in Çankaya Child Health and Family Planing Clinic Number 3, three posters prepared by Ministry oj Health vvere selected and their ejfectiveness \vere tested. Investigation had beeı done by hatıging the posters on the walls of clinic, and by applying questionnaire to the people who completed their visit to the clinic. Thirty-fıve out of sixty people remembered the breast feeding posters. Educational level and occupation are foıınd to be statistically unimportant from the point of view of remenıbering the posters and realizing the message on them. In remembering and liking a poster; color pictures, comprehensible and coııvincing messages are foıuıd to be the most important reasons.
