Abstract

This study has been carried out at the university dormitory kitchens to evaluate the hygienic conditions by Hygiene Check - List. This check - list included 9 8 criteria. Hygienic classification was made according to the points gained from each criteria i e . , excellent ( 8 6 -1 0 0 ), good ( 7 1 - 8 5 ), acceptable ( 6 1 -7 0 ) and unhealthy ( < 6 0 ). It was concludcd that three dormitory kitchens were good, six were acceptable and one of them was unhealthy.
