Abstract

Severe and serious complications affecting nutritional status negatively like gastrointestinal symptoms including mucositis, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain; veno-occlusive disease, graft versus host disease and metabolic disturbance could be seen in pediatric patients. Patients’ oral food consumption decrease dramatically because of both used high dose chemotherapy and can be occure severe complications. Proper nutritional support is very important in this period. In this case report discussed via a case experienced complications and nutritional strategies in transplantation period.
