A Case Report: Nutriton for Renal Transplant Patient

Abstract

The number of patients who have renal failure are rapidly increasing both in the world and in Turkey. Organ transplantation is a way of treatment which can provide a life without dialysis. Malnutrition must be cured before the transplantation. Malnutrition can affect the hospilitization period, infection, and survival. Obesity, cardiovascular disease, dyslipidemia, hypertension can be seen after renal transplantation. In this case report, the pre –peri and post operational nutrition status and discharge recommendation were discussed of the patient who had a renal transplantation in May 2013.
